Evaluation

In this assignment we were given the task to create and design a website that showcases my creating media work and we were asked to research into existing creative media websites, looking at content, layout and structure which would help us to create our own website. 

We also were reflection on what we have learnt in the pact on Wix.com to be able to create what we have but we had never used Wix before so we were all new to it so i didnt really know what to do but then i gradually got the hang of it after playing around with everything on it to create my final website.

Peer review:

Reece: website is good it just needs spell checking and maybe just one constant header.

Jake: This website is filled with photos and media that explains well to what they actually are and they speak clearly and well. 

Sam Y: website has links to all of my different works during my time in media. 

From these Peer reviews I am going to double check all of my spellings on the website and then I will publish it so it is the finished product and I also now know that website is easy to navigate around and it also explains well what the images are for and what they are from.

Next time i will make sure i meek on track of time and making sure that i fish all of the work that i started and don't finish it before starting something else.

Development of my wix.com website

On my home page where i have changed the text, background design, background pictures and control panel. Also I chose a number of didferent fonts for my final website but I ended up choosing Lobster and Lulo Clean. Also on the home page I wrote a bit about who I amd and why I am creating this website. And I also wrote a bit about two of my instibratipns Martin Parr and Henri Cartier-Bresson. On my photography section I have wrote abit about what that page is about and then I posted some images. My next page is called film and I have wrote about what we have to do and that we are put into groups of 3-4 and that we are set sertain short film to create that is within the assessment tital. And underneath I have shows two of the film that we have created this year 'One Minute Man' and 'Immune'. The last page is for Games and Grafics shows all of the work that we have done this year in college with what work we have done in lessons and what we have designed and it also shows what research I did.

I personally like this website because it is clean and simple and shows the art work clearly without having to scroll down or anything because it cycles through all of the pictures in order when you click on that page. Also i like it because it is a blank page with only four different things you can click on such as: The logo, Outside, Inside and Q + A so you can ask any questions that you have and want to know about the art work. And the art work is the biggest thing on the page so your attention goes to them so you focus more on them.
